Arctic

The polar north is home to polar bears and other Arctic animals, fish and birdlife. Mankind learned to build homes from blocks of ice and to fish in the ice.  Global warming is causing the ice to melt, endangering the existence of the polar bear.

The polar regions of Earth, also known as Earth's frigid zones, are the regions of Earth surrounding its geographical poles (the North and South Poles). These regions are dominated by Earth's polar ice caps, the northern resting on the Arctic Ocean and the southern on the continent of Antarctica.

ASIA

Asia covers an area of 17,212,000 sq. miles, about 30% of Earth's total land area land area. This continent has been home to most of the human population and was the site of many of the first civilizations.

The vast region known as Asia offers adventure, cultures, the Himalaya mountains, the Ganges and Yangtze rivers – a lifetime or more awaiting your arrival.

Papua New Guinea is for the fearless, offering as it does, a glimpse into tribal life, wars, culture – so recently intruded upon by the “civilized” world.  Famous Sing-sing festival in August offers such a glimpse.
